When will Eastern B & C averages be released? Players have a right to know what they are shooting after each week. I'm sure all executive members have them available each week to relay to their respective teams. Should be an even playing field.

Hello GUEST, The averages will be released when the eastern cut-off is called. As for the executives knowing their teams averages, well that is simply just not true. Norm does the "B" stats and plays "C" and will not give the stats to anyone, including all executive members, until cut-off is called. The same goes for Dave playing "B" and doing the "C" stats. So this does make it an even playing field. I ask that from now on anyone with a question leave their name with their post or it will not be responded to.

The cut-off is never a determined date, and can be anytime from now until Christmas break. And no, averages will NOT be posted on this site, they will be given to every teams Manager or captain after the cut-off is called. DJ Quinlan

Hi I play for Rosies 1 in eastern B this past weekend we had one of our players banned for two years cause he shot over with a 20.51. I have a few questions for the executives And the body in General.
1. How many players shot over in B ? 2. How many mangers or players knew the sheets were being called ? 3. In past years do all players that get banned receive a certificate Graduation to A witch we all found to be a big slap in the face !!! 4. Why do we have to pay 50$ just to see the sheets? I feel the sheets should be made available to the team and if we chose to make a protest then pay the 50$.
There is no way Trevor Freake is the only player in B that's able to shoot over a 20.49. Now that he has Graduate to A I am sure they will be all knocking on his door to get him to play with them with his 20.51 avg.
I am not trying to attack the ex cause I know how much time and work you guys put in each year would just like some answers as well as the body in a whole view on the matter as well.
Thanks for you time Chris Jacobs

chris i also play B ... i think they need to look at making B 21.99 0r even 22.49 n under. because if you through under a 25 Average... you will have a hard time getting a game in A ................... makes ppl cheat an hold back there darts...

I think .50 would be a good move however that would be very hard to pass island wide.

If he got banned then he has to play 2 consecutive years in A, shooting under a B average in both of those years to come back to B ... Or just sit out 5 years lol ... It's not like it was before in just sitting out 2 years and being able to come back And I've never played A before but I don't think it's what everyone makes it out to be as in needing a 25+ average to play....yes there are guys throwing those kind of averages but their the top dogs in A ... I think people would be surprised on how many averages are only around a 21-23.

Fair is fair when it comes to rules/averages....But it is pretty discouraging that when you shoot over the divisional average and the league you play in don't have a team in the division higher then you get barred from..You either have to find another league to play in (and then try to get on a Eastern Division team) or the only other option is to sit out for 5 years

I have to agree, fair is fair. If someone is over they should be gone from that division, it makes the league more competitive when players are in the division they are suppose to be in. I think the executive are doing a great job this year and going by the rules which was not done in previous years. Keep up the good work!

A guy gets barred for 20.51. What a joke? He is one of the honest players in "B". I have been involved in Eastern "C" "B", & even "A" since I was banned from "C" in 1978. I know and everyone reading this post also knows, that there are players in both "C" & "B" who are thowing their darts away just to stay in the league. It been going on for years and, in all honesty, nothing has solved the problem. We have to suck it up and accept the fact that some players are CHEATERS.

Hey Charlie, I have to say that in some sense you are correct, some people are playing in the wrong division and lowering their average intentionally to stay in that division. We as an executive are trying to do what we can to eliminate this as best we can. However their is no fool proof way of stopping it. With regards to your "what a joke comment," well I think you should understand the circumstances in which this was determined. We are trying to stop the cheating and put the players in the correct division at the same time which is hard to do. I would like to take the time to let you know that that 20.51 avg. was actually a 21.08 before that final Sunday cut-off was called. then coincidentally, the player shot a 16 avg the last Sunday which brought him down to 20.51. Now with that said he was still over, so I have a question for you, what would you have done in this situation? I know myself I would or the statistician would have had to fix a score in the database to get him under the required 20.49 to allow him to play. By doing that we would be the ones doing the so called CHEATING correct?? And if caught we would face suspension for CHEATING. So you just said that some players are CHEATERS so I ask you again, what would you have done in this situation? DJ Quinlan
